Check it out to learn more about how growth factors, growth factor binding peptides, and growth factor mimicking-peptides are covalently or non-covalently bound to biomaterial surfaces. This review focuses on applications in bone, cartilage, and osteochondral tissue engineering though many of the concepts apply to other tissues and biological systems.
