Congratulations to our 2023 graduates!

Dr. John Tolbert and Natasha Hunt graduated in Summer 2023!

Dr. John Tolbert defended his dissertation titled, “Investigating and Controlling the Mechanical Properties of Solvent-Cast Constructs for Tunable Biomaterial Scaffolds” in July 2023 and is currently a postdoc at Colgate-Palmolive. Huge thank you to his committee members Professors Eric Daniels, Brandon Krick, Sabrina Jedlicka, and Ray Pearson! Special shout-out to his parents, our collaborator Dr. Amelia Zellander (BioLattice), and Chow Lab alumni Dr. Paula Camacho, Tyler French, and many others on Zoom who showed up to support (and surprise) him. Congrats, John!

Natasha Hunt completed her MS thesis titled, “Designing Enzyme-Sensitive Peptide-Polymer Conjugates for Cell-Mediated Scaffold Degradation” and is currently a PhD student in Bioengineering at UC Berkeley. We are so glad that she chose to continue at Lehigh with our lab and spearheaded our ongoing collaboration between our lab with the Grayson Lab at Johns Hopkins University and Pashuck Lab at Lehigh. Congrats, Natasha!

We miss these two and look forward to hearing about all the amazing things they continue to do in their careers and lives!
